Thanks to its attractions, the beautiful lakeside setting and the nearby excursion mountains of the Rigi, Pilatus, Stanserhorn and Titlis, the town is a destination for many travel groups and individuals.
City of Lucerne in the evening
What will I see?
The unique and guided Lucerne Photo Tour is rich in photographic possibilities, complete with remarkable iconic Landmarks and interesting back-streets with secret vantage points. Lucerne is culturally diverse offering a fantastic contrast of old and new, and offers a lot of creative photography experiences. The river Reuss and the Lake of Lucerne with its beautiful boats give the city a flair of tranquility and endless beauty.
We aim to capture and explore as many historic and modern sights as possible, the medieval world famous Chapel Bridge considered to be one of the oldest, covered wooden bridges in Europe; the Museggmauer, a wall which has been preserved in its original, well-fortified state; the many town squares with its frescoes at the heart of its car-free old town; the dramatic lion monument; and the Culture and Convention Centre (KKL) with a futuristic architecture.
