What will I see?
The Crestasee offers an astounding experience of authenticity and natural serenity. The blue-green waters are surrounded by luxuriant vegetation on the shores, and a deep green crown of trees. This is indeed a fairy-tale view!
The idyllic lake is about 320m long, with a jetty and a raft in the middle. Water flows into the Crestasee underground but leaves the lake above ground. The strong inflow ensures that the lakewater is entirely renewed every few days.
1 or 2 different lenses are usually enough during a shoot as there are many variations with angles, light, exposure time and of course the different locations and subjects. The list below gives you some ideas so that you can set your personal preferences
General Lenses: 24-70, 24-105 for a wide range of photo types and panoramas
Wide angle Lenses: 11-24, 16-35 for great wide angle shots
Telephoto Lenses: 28-300, 100-400 for details in subjects
Special Lenses: If you own a Macro lense or a Tilt-Shift lens - there will be plenty of opportunities to use them
Tripod: For morning, evening and long exposure shots during daylight. A tripod will greatly enhance your photographic experience
Filters: Polarizer, ND-Filters in different grades 3, 6, or 10 stops or variable ones for perfect long exposure shots
Accessoires: Spare batteries and memory cards. Camera and Lens cleaning set. Raincover for your gear
Other Essentials
Temperature can vary greatly during the day. So we recommend you dress in layers and don't forget a rain jacket and an umbrella
Sun protection is essential. A hut and sun creme is recommended
